Ref. – Your letter No. 8/4/1012 SR Dated the 28^th September, 2012

Madam,

It is not irrelevant to mention here the discussion held with the department of post on 16^th January 2012 in connection with the JCA call for indefinite strike from 17^th January 2012. We were given assurances to settle the justified demands of GDS. The Hon’ble state minister for communications and IT also has given assurances in the meetings held at his residence with leaders on 21^st January 2012. The General Secretary AIPEDEU explained elaborately the most pressing problems of GDS in the meeting. The assurances of the Hon’ble state minister have not been put into practice till date.

Hence we have no other alteration except agitation to settle the genuine and justified demands of GDS.

We are humbly requesting your kind intervention to settle the demands placed in the charter of demands to maintain peace in the department of posts.
