TEXT OF THE SAVINGRAM

We register strong protest against inordinate delay in SETTLEMENT OF FOLLWING DEMANDS focused during 7 days STRIKE of the GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS IN THE COUNTRY from 16.10.2012 to 22.10.2013 and urge upon you to look into the issues on top priority before we are compelled to launch another STRUGGLE FOR JUSTICE.

1.     Grant Departmental Status to the neglected, oppressed and humiliated lot GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS of the postal department serving silently the department and the public like other departmental staff.

2.     To end all discrimination immediately viz., BONUS CEILING, irregular and irrational tightening of work norms on cash handling etc.

3.     Implement the Health scheme “Rashriya Swasthya Bima Yojana” immediate necessity.

4.     Withdraw revised recruitment rules which denies promotion to the eligible seniors and the exploited and restore previous method.
